Lukas Kothmeier

Founder and CEO of LKMC

“I am driven by working with committed project teams and motivated managers, because in such teams, solutions can be found that no one would initially think possible.

Orchestrating and leading teams has always suited me – whether as a coach of a basketball team, as an organist in front of a music ensemble, as an event leader for a youth group or as the leader of a project team. I often found myself leading these groups, which is why I now orchestrate in many professional areas.

My communicative, organizational, technical and commercial skills enable me to advise projects in various problem situations and to lead diverse project teams in different compositions.

I am fulfilled by my passions – making music, leading basketball games, youth work and skydiving.”

Christopher Hecht

Christopher’s work focusses on applying machine learning, big data and other analytics tools on private and public charging processes, both controlled via a charging station as well as controlled through the vehicle. In this, he aims to optimise asset usage by understanding how users charge, what their preferences are and how the charging system can be tailored to their needs.

With The Mobility House, the focus lies on maximising the flexibility that vehicles can provide to the electricity system. Tools to achieve this are improved user incentives, better technical utilisation of the vehicles’ capabilities, and improved electricity market interaction. With RWTH Aachen University, he focusses on public charging infrastructure and optimises both placement of new stations as well as utilisation of existing installations. Adjacent to these topics, he is also an expert in battery aging, cell chemistries and stationary storage systems. Given his experience with The Mobility House, RWTH Aachen University, and others, he has expertise in software development and agile working structures.

Jens-Peter Joost

Founder and CEO of JPJ Solutions

Peter is an Operations Research specialist who builds optimization systems for problems that are too large or too complex for off-the-shelf solvers. With an M.Sc. in Mathematics specializing in Optimization and more than 11 years of experience, his mission is solving optimization problems that standard solvers can’t handle.

Peter spent six years at DHL developing high-performance algorithms for supply chain and routing — from a $1B+ simulation model of the global airfreight network to last-mile delivery optimization that achieved 8% cost savings through custom algorithms. The pattern he sees repeatedly is companies buying expensive optimization software that doesn’t deliver: generic solvers too slow for production, or solution quality that isn’t good enough. His approach is to analyze the mathematical structure of a problem, exploit its problem-specific properties, and develop production-ready solutions with measurable results.

Competences

  • Mathematical optimization for routing, scheduling, production planning, and workforce allocation.
  • Deep AI and Operations Research expertise, turning proofs of concept into robust, production-ready code.
  • Custom high-performance algorithms for large-scale supply-chain and routing problems.
  • Translating complex model behaviour into terms non-technical stakeholders can use for decisions.
  • Structured, transparent, collaborative delivery, including upskilling client teams along the way.
